Ronald Clanton

Ronald (Ron) Everett Clanton, aged 77, passed away at his home in Canton, GA on Wednesday, November 10.  Ron was a lifelong resident of Georgia.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, beach vacations, and his favorite shows.  He instilled a strong work ethic in his children and grandchildren and also passed along his love and knowledge of cars and motorcycles.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ethel Clanton; his nephew, James Clanton, Jr.; his niece, Debbie Williams; and sister, Shirley Mitchell.  He leaves behind many family members who loved him deeply.

Linda, his devoted wife of 57 years.

Three children:  Rhonda Clanton; Melissa (Jon) Haas; and Ron (Denise) Clanton.

Five grandchildren:  Lindsey (Jerry) Hames, Justin (Lindsey) Hicks, Wayne (Madison) Bailey, Brady Haas and Molly Haas.

Six great-grandchildren:  Ariana, Jelani, Akhari, Tucker, Emerson, and Waylon.

Three brothers:  Jimmy (Jenny) Clanton, David (Judy) Clanton, Harry (Mardell) Clanton.

One sister:  Brenda (John) Mazenis

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be no traditional services, but a Celebration of Life will be planned after January 1, 2022.  In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the charity of your choice in his honor.
