John Homsey Jr.

June 3, 1964 — December 23, 2020

John Homsey Jr. 56, peacefully passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his beloved farm house with family by his side.

A Catholic Mass will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of The Mountains Catholic Church.  A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Johns life will immediately follow the service at Canton Funeral Home with Military Honors.

John was born on June 3rd, 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts to Nora and late John Homsey.  John proudly served in the United States Army.  On June 22, 1989, John married Karen Noonan in Boston, MA to whom he was married for 29 years.  There was no project too big or too small that he could not master.  He spent a majority of his time doing home improvement projects with his son, John Robert by his side.  He also, enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle that he had for over 20 years.  Family and friends know him for his sense of humor and "teddy bear" persona.  He had the biggest heart and was a person of integrity.

John was preceded in death by his father, John Homsey; brother-in-law, Timothy Blair.  He is survived by his wife, Karen Homsey; mother, Nora Homsey; children, Stephanie Homsey, Amanda Homsey; John Homsey; brother, Robert Homsey and his wife Allison; sisters, Ann Marie Homsey, Julia Blair; brother-in-law, Robert Noonan (Jennifer Zimmerman); several nieces, nephews and cousins who he adored.
