James Martin

James Glenn Martin, born in 1933, passed away on 04/22/2020.

Glenn was a long-time resident of Roswell, GA, then retiring in Ellijay, GA.

He was a 1951 graduate of Roswell High School, where he lettered in football, baseball, basketball, and track.

Glenn proudly served our country in the Army, during the Korean War.

He was an electrician for many years, and a member of IBEW Local 613.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Martin and his beloved dog Sophie.

He is survived by, daughter Theresa (Stanley) Coleman, son Ricky (Karen) Martin, daughter Tina (David) McCleskey, granddaughter Ashley (Ryan) Owens, grandsons Grant McCleskey, Taylor McCleskey, and his ex-wife and mother of his 3 children Katie White.

He is also survived by his twin brother Lynn Martin, and brother Paul ( Margaret) Martin, along with many nieces and nephews.

A sincere Thank you to Jodi and her wonderful staff at The Oaks Personal Care Home in Fairmount, GA for taking such good care of our Dad.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
