Obituary

David Scot Brooker 49, of Ball Ground passed away suddenly on October 13, 2021.

 A systems engineer with General Dynamics, David was predeceased by his parents Robert and Jane Brooker. He is survived by his wife Connie Clayton Brooker and brothers Mark Brooker and Steve Brooker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Beth Quisumbing(Todd), Drew Clayton, Chandler Clayton, Julie Smallwood,  and Mackenzie Brooker. He is also survived by great nieces and great nephew Katie Clayton,  Ginger Bunce,  and Jacob Bunce.

David had been in the area for  27 years relocating here from Titusville Florida. he was heavily involved and very honored by various local civic organizations.

David was The Georgia Junior Chamber Vice-President and State President, United States Junior Chamber Vice-President. He also received numerous awards for the local and State Junior Chamber. He was also a United States Junior Chamber Senator and Georgia Junior Chamber Honor Corp. Member.

A memorial service is planned for David at Canton Funeral Home on Saturday October 23, 2021 at 2:00pm preceded by a visitation at 1:00pm for immediate family only.  A public celebration of his life will be in April, 2022 on his 50th birthday. 

The family has requested social distancing and mask to be worn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Georgia Feral Cat Program or Folds of Honor.
