Bruce Rose

Bruce A. Rose passed away on April 4, 2021. He was born June 11, 1940 in Englewood, New Jersey. He was the son of Frances and William Rose. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Patricia Bickett Rose and  children Sheila Rose Walker and Bruce "Todd" Rose, as well as grandchildren Macey Walker Shelton and William "Scott" Walker.


Bruce's family moved to Lancaster, Ohio when he was 5 years old. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1959 and continued his higher education at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. He graduated in1963 with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. In college Bruce was a member of Gamma Phi Gamma fraternity.
While at Wilmington Bruce met and married the love of his life, Patricia Bickett from Xenia, Ohio in 1962. She was also a graduate of Wilmington College. Bruce and Patricia had two children, daughter, Sheila and son, Todd. Sheila is married to Scott Walker and they have two children, Macey and Scott. Todd is married to Carla Gossett Rose.


Bruce worked most of his life in sales. His various sales jobs took them to Canton, Ohio, Eggertsville, New York, Naperville, Illinois, and Marietta, Georgia. In 1980 Bruce started his own business selling machine tools. Fabrication Machinery and Equipment, Inc. was a very successful business. He loved helping his clients and they loved his caring and thoughtful attitude.

Bruce served our county in the United States Airforce from 1963-1969. In later years he belonged to the Kiwanis Club in Marietta, Georgia.


Bruce accepted Christ as Savior when he was 41 and loved to share the Gospel. He loved the Lord and has always been a very giving and loving man. How very blessed we have been to share are lives with him.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at Macedonia Memorial Cemetery on Saturday April 17, 2021 beginning at 11:00am with James Walters presiding.

I n lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donation be made to either St. Judes Children's Hospital or Samaritan's Purse.
