Thurmond Theodis Blanton

Thurmond T.  Blanton 84, of Canton passed away Thursday August 18, 2022 peacefully at his home. Thurmond loved the lord with all his heart and soul and will be terribly missed.

He was a loving husband, father, step-father, brother , and son.

Thurmond was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Victoria(Cox) Blanton, his wife Martha R. Blanton, who he loved very much and adored, a sister Alene Jones, and brothers Dewey Blanton and Tim Blanton.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Blanton, children Rachel Fowler and Eric Fowler, and sisters Mildred Pinyan, Mozelle Jarvis, and Monnie Blanton.

Visitation will take place at Canton Funeral Home on Monday August 22, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm and again Tuesday August 23, 2022 from 11:00am -1:00pm followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm.

Interment in Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow.
