Dennis Ray Hollingshead

Dennis Ray Hollingshead, 66 of Jasper passed away Saturday July 30, 2022 after an extended illness. Originally from Jackson County Alabama, Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Billy and Ilane Hollingshead, his wife Janet(Tootsie) Hollingshead, and a brother David Hollingshead.

He is survived by a daughter Dorey Hollingshead(her partner Leslie Carter), a  son Bud Hollingshead(wife Ashley), a brother Daniel Hollingshead, a sister Darlene Billings, and seven grandchildren Cayden Hollingshead, Chelsea Hollingshead, Madison Ray, James Debord and Jay, Audrey, and Gracelyn Carter as well as his loyal little dog Brownie, who never left his side.

A visitation for friends and family is scheduled for Tuesday August 2, 2022 from 10:00am until 8:00 pm and also Wednesday August 3rd from 10:00 until 1:30. Funeral services will begin at 1:30pm on August 3rd, 2022.  Interment will immediately following at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rev. Kenny Martin will be officiating service.
